About Me
Buyogan Festival is a cultural feast showcasing the history of the coastal town of Abuyog. The locally known “buyog” (or bees)--the centerpiece of this performance--is the ultimate inspiration for the name of their Municipality. The highlight of the festival is the Buyogan--a parade of vibrant and giddy dancers performing a choreography inspired by the movements of and the life of the bees. Buyogan Festival has a long history of success in national competitions, including Aliwan Festival in the National Capital Region.
