My Travel Story

Hi, my name is Tashina Hopson and I have barely been outside of the state of Georgia which I was born, raised, and attend college in. I havetraveled to Jacksonville and certain parts of South Carolina but that's as far as i've been. My family haven't been fortunate enough to go on trips. I've been more places with school as opposed to personal travels. I'm currently a senior and I don't have much time to plan to study abroad at a later time. I'm afraid that I definitely don't have the money to go alone plus, I don't think the experience would be the same. I am so excited that I have an opprotunity to go to Mexico this summer. I feel as if it is God's will himself that I go to Mexico. The reason I say this is because last semester (fall) I was at a fiancial stump. I gave up on the idea of going and I was looking for a summer job and, then this semester while checking my bill invoice I accidentally checked my letter and saw that I was being offered the guestimation I came up with for summer tuition for the nine credits I would take in Mexico. Then as I contacted the program coordinator, everything was going so smoothly. I hadn't missed any deadlines or anything. And now that I'm not sure I'll be able to pay my first payment of $1645 i'm trying not to be distraught for my God is a giving God and I know he has a plan for me and it does consists of my travels in Mexico this summer. I decree that God will make a way! Now the question is who will God work through to get me there.
