I spent 30 years on the media treadmill until i was made redundant two years ago. Following a period of travel i gained my Permaculture Design Certificate. This was a turning point in my life and since then i have been Wwoofing on permaculture farms in the southwest of Australia. I have continued to take permaculture courses, including Advanced Permaculture Teaching with Ross Mars, Future Scenarios with David Holmgren, Fast Track Urban Permaculture Facilitator's Training with Robina McCurdy, Dynamic Decision Making with Robin Clayfield and Social Permaculture with Robin Clayfield and Robina McCurdy. On of the places i fell in love with while travelling was India, especially the rural areas. The opportunity to return and to pitch in and design, implement and assess a permaculture plan is too big an opportunity to miss. I don't earn any money while Wwoofing, it's all voluntary, and i only have meagre savings. I would much prefer to be in a position to fund this trip myself, but unfortunately i'm not, hence here i am on FundMyTravel.
