Hi, my name is Natalie Mendoza. I am currently a freshman at Florida State University studying Biological Sciences on a Pre-Vet track. It is very important for me to begin gaining Veterinarian experience and what would be a better way than doing it in South Africa! I am currently volunteering at the Tallahasse Animal Shelter and a local rescue called CARE (Companion Animal Rescue Endeavor) on my free time. I am a part of the FSU Pre-Vet club on campus and I am trying to gain as much experience as I can while also building my resume to apply to Veterinarian Schools in the future. Safari4U is a once in a lifetime experience where I'll be helping animals from all sizes, learning about different veterinarian medicines, participating in zoo projects, and wildlife through game captures for 2 weeks. This trip cost a lot of money and is a financial burden, but I am saving up enough money to cover the costs that go directly to Safari4U. However, those costs do not include my airfares or immunizations required for travel to South Africa. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will push me one step closer to my dream job! Thank you all so much in advance!!!!
