My Travel Story

Hello! This summer, I will be interning in Wellington, New Zealand for 8 weeks! I will be working for an N.G.O called ChangeMakers Refugee Forum doing humanitarian work! I am very excited to be embarking on this adventure and use this opportunity to improve  professionally, academically, and spiritually. I will be working with an organization that helps refugees from several different countries such as Syria, Afghanistan, and Colombia, properly resettle in New Zealand through a human rights based approach.
I chose this internship because I believe it is our duty to aide those suffering from injustice and with the refugee crisis being so pertinent, along with this opportunity presenting itself, the choice was basically made for me. 
Nonetheless, while this will be a wonderful experience, it most certainly is not free. In order for me to travel to New Zealand along with living there for 8 weeks, I will need some monetary assitance! I am trying to raise $8,500 to pay for my travel,program fees, accomodation,  and living expenses while in New Zealand. I would greatly appreciate it if you could donate to my campaign and help me live out this dream!
