Hello everyone!
Before I even knew the college I was going to attend, I knew I wanted to study abroad. Currently, I am in my junior year as a Public Relations major at the University of South Carolina. And the chance to study abroad is before me. For the Spring 2018 semester I will have the opportunity to study at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic! I am so excited to go on this new adventure; I can't wait to come back with stories, new experiences, and a greater worldview.
Last summer I applied for and was accepted into the study abroad program in Barcelona, Spain. However, I was unable to go because of financial challenges. At first, I was disappointed. But then I came to appreciate that this was actually a blessing in disguise. I realized that to truly get a full study abroad experience, I wanted to go for an entire semester.
I am working on getting the funding in place so that I am fully prepared to depart for Prague in late January 2018. I have set up this funding page to ask you to help me to experience all of the academic and travel opportunities that I have the potential to experience while in Prague and Europe.
Any amount that you contribute will help and will be greatly appreciated. I can't wait to share my upcoming adventures with all of you!
