My Travel Story

Hello all, I have just graduated High School and have been thinking a lot about what I want to do next year.  I came to the conclusion that I should take a gap year before attending a four-year university. I'm not sure what I want to study in college yet, so I deferred my enrollment at the University of Oregon.  For my Gap year, I plan to travel to Israel on a program that provides you with an apartment, internship, and travel opportunities.  The only roadblock I'm experiencing with this trip is the funding.  I have always wanted to go to Israel.  My parents met in Israel, and I feel connected to its rich history and significance. I feel like now is a good time to explore before college, and translate my passions into goals for the future. Thank you for considering my campaign!

  • Travel Update!

    Hello, I am very excited to say that I have booked my flight to Tel Aviv! I leave the 26th of August and arrive in Israel on the 27th. I am also in the process of getting my student visa. Everything is coming together!! Thank you again to everyone who has donated, I couldn't have paid for my flight without all your help. Please keep spreading the word about my funding page.   • Getting Excited About Traveling

    Hello all, I cannot believe I am already 35% of the way to my goal. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me get there. I am starting to get really excited about my trip! I was just added to the Facebook page so I can start communicating with the other people traveling with me on the program. I can't wait to meet all these people from all over the world and have new experiences. Thanks again!
