Hello everyone, my name is Sasha Andrews! I am currently 16 years old and am in my second year of French at Petaluma highschool in northern CA. I have been wanting to go on an immersion trip to study the language of French and have finally found a program through SPI which takes place in Biarritz, France for a 2 week long period. At a young age I was introduced to the language of French as my mother is from France. Recently, though, I have fallen in love with the French language and culture and would love the opportunity to be able to further my education by embarking on this journey! The program through SPI is very accommodating to the student life. There will be a total of 30 hours of classes a week where we will be asked to converse with other students as well as read French texts. This program also allows for free time where students will be allowed to walk the streets of Biarritz and hold conversations with the locals. After surfing the internet for many hours and talking to my school counselor, I can say with confidence that this is the best program for me.
