Please help support my pre-physician's assistant shadowing internship in Iringa, Tanzania. As many know, I am aspiring to be a physician's assistant in the near future. Not only will this program allow me to immerse myself in diverse African culture, but it will also allow me to study and observe the health care system in an underprivileged area while providing medical attention to those in need. Furthermore, the insight I will gain on global health will give me an edge when applying to PA school. While on my placement I will observe doctors performing their clinical duties in the wards and operating rooms of local hospitals. I will also have the chance to volunteer at the local orphanages. Your donation will help cover the program costs, including airfare, accommodations, local travel fees, medical insurance, immunizations, food, support and a percentage which goes to the hospitals and mentors.
