What is your Why in Life?

I am a New Zealander currently based in New York performing voluntary duties but it is time to share my extensive life experiences by moving to Thailand and embarking on the TEFL training course there.

My “Why in Life” use to be having a big beautiful home and nice things. Now I have changed direction and have decided to pack up and spend time helping others grow..
I have a background in teaching theatrical and presentation effects to adults and am well educated. I am currently directing a play in New York as a volunteer and would like to build on my theatrical experience to incorporate plays for children into the school I would be posted.

Having travelled and lived in many countries, including Thailand, I am versed in many different cultures.

Because of my diverse background, I am able to offer a variety of teaching methods to assist with different levels of learning and bring to this new role a personal passion to share my patience and English skills.
I am also an experienced sewer, potter, excellent cook and gardener and over time can contribute to the school and to the community these other aspects of my skills..

Being a member of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon team, who organises the World Peace Run world wide, I see this as another opportunity to be able to introduce this throughout the schools in Thailand. to create an awareness of world peace. 
Your donations will assist me with the TEFL training and in turn I will be able to go on to educate entire classrooms over the next many years.
