My Travel Story

My name is Cheyenne and I'm a sophmore at Lafayette College! I'm a Asian Studies major and I'm currently studying Japanese. I've recently been accepted into the CIEE Summer Japanese Studies program in Tokyo, and it will be my first time ever leaving the United States! This means so much to me because I was a very sheltered child while growing up and I really want to get out and see the world with my own eyes. And as an Asian Studies major and Japanese language student, there's only so much I can learn from the internet and textbooks. There's no better way for me to learn about Japan and practice Japanese than to go to Japan, am I right?
Unfortunately, doing these things costs quite a bit of money. I'm working hard to try to meet the expenses myself so that my parents don't have to shoulder the burden. I don't know how far I'll get so if anyone is willing and able to lend me a hand, I would be very grateful. If you can, please help this kid get a fun and fulfilling summer!
