In order to expand my portfolio of community murals, I am interested in traveling to France to work directly with internationally known artist Alex Stylopine in order learn the technique of creating eco-friendly community murals and public art that incorporates and preserves natural elements. The process of using moss to create large-scale images is a sustainable and progressive technique used to enhance and beautify public and community space. This technique is widely used in France and is gaining popularity as an alternative to more harmful materials such as enamels and oil based paints.

The skills gained during this project will be incorporated into my ongoing community based mural work and public art projects in and around the Philadelphia Pa area. I will also lead a workshop in the Spring 2016 to share this knowledge and create a large scale moss mural within Wissahickon Park to preserve and protect the natural landscape from graffiti.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. All are invited to follow the community moss mural travel blog at http://www.zhibit.org/ematyok/blog

Donations made at the $50-$100 level will be invited to attend the private moss garden mural workshop being held in Spring 2016 in Wissahickon Valley Park.

Thank you for your continued support of my creative endeavors and adventures!
