Natural Resources and Environmental Analysis is a required course for environmental science majors at the University of Kentucky.  It typically is conducted in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky.  The option to take the course in a location other than Kentucky is availiable for the first time.  This year a group of students will be traveling to Costa Rica to study the environment and natural resources of a different country.  From the volcanic mountain regions to the lush beaches of the coasts, Costa Rica offers a diverse range of natural resources.  The course offers students a look at how different cultures develop policy and analyze their natural resources.
