As a woman in STEM, our remarkable achievements can be often undermined. Women face stereotypes and challenges when pursuing a STEM career. Unconscious biases are often encountered in this career field, but I am determined and confident in becoming a researcher. Currently, I am a senior student of biology at Texas A&M International University. After some years of studying general biology, I finally found my passion within the vast field of biological studies. I would love to study overseas to leverage my experience in research while immersing myself in another cultural setting.
