My Travel Story

My name is Tanil Cadette and I am a third year Doctorate of pharmacy student currently enrolled at Northeastern University's six year program. Throughout the six years I am required to complete three 4 month internships also known as Co-ops. So far, I have completed one at Tufts Medical Center, working in the sterile products area and another at Boston Medical Center, working in the outpatient pharmacy. I am excited to say I plan on completing my last co-op in Cape Town, South Africa. I was accepted to intern at a health clinic in the township Khayelitsha for 12 weeks. However, this internship is unpaid and comes with a financial burden.I am asking for donations to help support me with living cost. I am choosing to complete my last Co-op abroad because as a future healthcare professional I want to have a global understanding of health care issues.
