Dear All, 
My name is Dr. Elsa Talat Khwaja.
Two years ago, during a Pandemic I accomplished what I perceived to be the "impossible," I received my doctorate in Public Policy and became Dr. Elsa. My PhD was on international development policy in Pakistan and Afghanistan.  After I received my doctorate in public policy, it took me 7 months to land a job. I needed to leave my job earlier this year for many reasons related to health, and my desire to return to my research on Pakistan, something that the job was taking away from me.
Now, I am trying to return to Pakistan to reconnect with all my connections. I'd like my initial pilot trip to be this coming February. Your support would be vital. If you can help me raise some money for travel costs from Washington DC to Pakistan, it would help me be able to return on my 5th Anniversary of my last trip to Pakistan. It took my 10 years to return to Pakistan for my doctorate, after my Masters Fieldwork. I do not want it to be more the 5 years. Could you help me secure my ticket to Karachi, Pakistan and then support my time and trip there for a few months? I want to establish connections again and reconnect with many people there.
