Hey Y'all,

It's Elizabeth the traveler again. Due to the efforts of family, friends, my own devices and the SFS scholarship commitee, I spent six weeks in the glorious and beautiful country of Bhutan. If I had two words to describe my journey, they would be MIND BLOWN. I can not express how greatful I am for all of those who helped. One of the greatest forms of help came in $5,400 of aide from SFS, $3000 in scholarship money and $2,400 in a short term, zero interest loan. Since July I have managed to pay off $720 of this loan doing various odd jobs but this task is becoming increasing difficult due to a move, starting at UC Davis and a restoration ecology internship at Sacramento Tree Foundation. I feel so blessed that SFS was willing to help me and I want to return the favor as soon as I can.
