My Travel Story

Hello!
I am currently a first semester junior at St Mary's College of Maryland, studying Political Science and Latin American Studies. I plan to study abroad during Spring semester 2016 (late February through late June) in Viña del Mar, Chile, through the American Institute of Foreign Studies. This experience will enable me to both hone my Spanish skills and immerse myself in Chilean culture. 

I have already applied for and been awarded two separate scholarships for this experience. However, studying abroad in Chile will still be significantly more expensive than a typical semester and I would like to minimize the financial burden on both myself and my family. If possible, I would also like to travel in the region after the semester ends. Any support is greatly appreciated!
