My Travel Story

Embarrisingly enough, I have never been outside of the country. So not only will this experience final start my life long ambition to start traveling the world, but this opportuinty will open doors in my (hopefully) succsseful research career. With this trip I am hoping to ge some real outside research experience as well as being able to do some helpful research on a very unique tropicalogy ecosystem. Costa Rica has one of the most bio-diverse areas on the planet and this trip would allow me to go and explore with some of the most acclaimed feild biologists at my school. All of the opportunities this trip would open up is so over whelming in the sense that it leads to the possibility of me pursuing a career I have always wanted. That is why this trip is very meaningful to me. It is the very first baby step I have to take to have a career I have always aspired to have :)
