My Travel Story

¡Hola!

I'm a senior Marketing major at Texas Tech University with a minor in Spanish. I have never traveled outside of Texas, so I'm really looking forward to this opportunity. 

I want to study in San Jose, Costa Rica this summer. I will be taking courses in Adavanced Business Spanish and International Business at Universidad Veritas. I will also live with a "Tican" host family and have the chance to completely immerge myself in the Costa Rican culture to improve my fluency in Spanish. 

I originally opened a savings account freshman year to study abroad. I came close to reaching my goal, but unfortunately I had to tap into it last semester to afford a vet bill when my cat got hit by a car. I would really, really appreciate it if you would help me finance this trip, no matter how big or small the contribution may be; I can't emphasize enough how it will all be extremely helpful to me. 

It has been my dream to study abroad since I first heard about it at freshman orientation. Now here I am, just a few weeks away from my last summer at Tech and the time has finally come!
