Study Abroad in ITALY!
My Travel Story
I am a sophomore at the University of Illinois studying Agriculture Communications with a concentration in News-Editorial Journalism. My dreams and passions have always been centered around international travel and agriculture, and I'm blessed to be in a career path that allows me to do both!
Last summer I had the opportunity to travel to Dhaka, Bangladesh to do research through a USAID program focused on food science and nutrition. The experience taught me so much more about different agriculture practices around the world and how to communicate with global farmers and producers than I could have possibly learned while sitting in a classroom.
I was recently accepted into a study abroad program to Urbino, Italy for the month of June this summer! There, I'll be studying Multimedia Journalism which will include photography, international reporting, and video at The University of Urbino. This program will help me further my communication skills to bring into the agriculture field.
I am so blessed with this opportunity, but sadly by bank account is not. The program fee is pretty high and doesn't include my flight there or back home.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I cannot wait to experience the Italian life!
If you have $10 to spare, it would mean the world to me. I'll bring you back a postcard!!!
Grazie e tanto amore! Thank you and much love!
