I am very excited to be going on this trip with my fellow students at Harlem. When we are there I hope to learn more about the Costa Rican culture as well as expand upon my knowledge of Spanish. I have very few moments to speak Spanish with others who are fluent, so being able to go to a beautiful country like Costa Rica and practice my Spanish with people other than my mom is an opportunity I cannot pass up. Besides just practicing my Spanish I will also be exploring a new culture. Not only will we go sight-seeing, but each student will spend a week with a host family. I will be able to engrain myself in the culture. I look forward to my trip to Costa Rica
