My Travel Story

Last year, a few months before I graduated I had a mini stroke and was diagnosed with a brain tumour. In August 2015 I had brain surgery, and spent the whole past year trying to recover and work and stay on top of finances. It completely ruined my plans to take a gap year and travel, and meant I spent all my savings including money for a postgrad. I have just been given a clean bill of health and am going to travel around Europe, learning languages and participating in volunteer programs, to try and immerse myself in as many cultures as possible.
