Dobrý den (Hello)! My name is Sarah Neely and I am currently a senior studying vocal performance at West Texas A&M University. It is my most sincere hope that I will be able to study abroad in the Czech Republic next semester. This will be an incredible opportunity for me not only to grow as a person but also to enhance my future career prospects. Through this program I will be able to pursue one of my dreams of specializing myself in the language and music of the Czech Republic. I will use the knowledge of the music and culture I gain on this trip to teach Czech diction and introduce a greater variety of beautiful Czech music to my future students and colleagues.

  • Here's The Run Down!

    Hello Everyone!

    So I thought I would give you a run down of my financial situation thus far.

    The total cost of everything including tuition, room and board and a round trip flight from Dallas to Prague is $15,810.

    So far I have $6,750 in financial aid (student loans and grants) as well as $3,000 of my own savings.  And I will find out how much scholarship money I will be recieving from the Study Abroad office at my school on October 15th. I am also exploring other options of fundraising, such as performing benefits recitals and sending out letters to people in the community.  

    My hope for this website is that I will be able to raise about $1,500 which will roughly cover the cost of my airfare for this trip!
