My Travel Story

My name is Soniya and I am a UT grad on my way to becoming a physician assistant. I have come across a wonderful opportunity to provide health care and spread smiles to the undeserved community of Jamaica during this upcoming winter break. 

Healthcare and medicine is an esstential need in the world. Many people across the world are suffering from very acute illnesses such as the common cold to more life-threatning and deadly diseases, such as cancer. Whatever the intensity may be, I would love to strive to help anyone in need, especially those in the undeserved countries who don't have the luxary of easy access to medical attention and clean environments that we are blessed with in this country. 

This experience will not only open doors to healthcare experience but also allow me to understand the importance of medicine and value of life. My goal is to make a difference in the lives of others and would appreciate the assistance to help me reach this goal.
