Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie and I'm a junior at Adelphi Unversity with a major in biology and a minor in sociology. Recently, I was accepted into a program that will allow me to study abroad in Australia this upcoming summer. Those of you who know me (and you kind strangers who do not) will know that I've never before traveled anywhere in my entire life so this is going to be a very exciting experience for me!

One of the main reasons I chose this program was due to my enormous passion for animals. What better place to study and learn more about the many diverse species that exist in the world than in Australia, where I will be spending my days snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and participating in scuba diving excursions to obtain first hand, field based research. 

I know this will be a memorable and paradise-like journey that will most certainly broaden my career in the biological field. I am already eagerly counting down the days. However, the cost of the trip is a bit pricey (gah international flights!) and would appreciate any help you guys can give me. I would be grateful for any contribution at all (and might consider bringing you home a koala or baby kangaroo if I can sneak it on the plane).
