Hey guys my name is Andrea and I am a JCU nursing and midwifery student with a mission to make a difference. Ive been given a unique opportunity to complete a hands on nursing placement for 3 weeks in Hue, Vietnam, where ill be immersed in a community with limited access to healthcare and resources. This trip is not just about expanding my skills but about contributing to the wellbeing of a community of need. 

Healthcare is a basic human right and necessity, but in many parts of the world including Vietnam access to quality care is limited. In Hue ill be working along side heathcare professionals to provide medical support, learn culturally responsive care and address critical healthcare issues. 

How your support will help to make a direct differnce: 
- Supply essential medical resources and equipment: Funds raised will help provide items like sterile dressings, basic medical equipment and hygiene supplys for patients and staff. 
- Enable culturally sensitive care addressing healthcare needs specific to Hue and prioritising resources based on the hospitals immediate needs.
- Leave a lasting impact on the community continuing well after my placement in Hue ends by contributing sustainable resources and training whereever possible.
