My Travel Story

Traveling to South Africa to work with children, I'm excited about the opportunity to provide a safe and fun environment to children from broken homes. These children come from backgrounds where they have lost their parents due to multiple factors such as alcohol, drugs and HIV.

To be able to assist in providing the children with a safe refugee during the day gives me hope that I can make a difference.

This experience will help me open my eyes to different cultures around the world and the need to help others less fortunate.

I feel passionate about being able to volunteer each day and educate these children.

To be able to organize games and activities they would otherwise not be able to partipicate in provides me with achievement and gratitude that I am able to bring a smile to the childrens faces.

I am feeling anxious about this opportunity but the excitment out ways these feelings. I am nervous about the unknown, but I can't help but think of the difference I will be making for these children.
