My Travel Story

Hi everyone!  I am heading back to Africa this summer.  I will be working with Pangea Educational Development (PED), a nonprofit organization committed to empowering and unifying schools through sustainable education projects.  This July, I will travel to Uganda to work with teachers and communities, and I cannot wait for this journey to begin!  
Aside from the journey, my current school, Western Avenue Elementary, is working to raise awareness of the work PED is doing in Uganda.  It is my hope that we can continue to share the work that is happening in Uganda through PED in order to build more support for the sustainable community developments that PED is striving to achieve.  
The travel and trip fee to Africa is quite expensive.  Therefore, I am reaching out to friends and family for help.  Any contributions you make would be greatly appreciated.  I promise to keep the trip alive through social media this summer.  Western Avenue will also be hosting a service project for MLK Day on January 21st to start the awareness campaign for PED from 12:00-2:00 pm in Western Avenue's library.  Please feel free to stop by Western Avenue on January 21st to learn more about the Pangea Educational Development..
