My Travel Story

As we approach the end of 2016, I am preparing to embark on a journey overseas where I have the opportunity to further my education! I hope to turn my spring 2017 semester abroad at The University of Newcastle, Australia in to a full academic year abroad. In order to do this, I will need some help since it is unlikely that I will be able to work while I'm abroad. This opportunity means the world to me and I cannot wait to experience what is awaiting me in Australia! I am thankful that this university offers classes which fit my Actuarial Science major requirements and just cannot begin to express my full gratitude towards this experience.

  • #GivingTuesday ..'Tis The Season To Be Thankful

    Today is recognized as #GivingTuesday.. The Tuesday following Thanksgiving, a movement to promote a day of giving as we enter the Christmas season! Maybe today you paid it forward to someone, or gave a ride to someone who needed it.. maybe you donated to your favorite charity or maybe you gave yourself some time to sit back, relax, and reflect on all of the good things in your life. This holiday season, I am thankful for the time spent with my friends and family before I move to Australia for 10 months. I am FOREVER thankful for everyone who has/will contribute to my study abroad experience. Whether you choose to be one of those people or not, I appreciate each ounce of support I get along the way and I hope you all reach out to those you are thankful for this holiday season <3 <3

  • Birthday Update

    Still early in to the fund raising for my Australia trip but I just celebrated my 22nd birthday! If any of you would like to wish me the happiest birthday, I would appreciate a contribution towards my fund for Australia! Thank you :)
