My Travel Story

Hello everyone 

My name is Melissa and I have been blessed with the opportunity to study abroad in Namibia which is Southwest Africa. I'm an a nontradtional student who took a break from college to enter the working world. My employer has given me the opportunity as an older adult to go back to school to obtain a degree in business. My dream is to become an entrepreneur and create multiple streams of income which will allow me to live the life of my dreams and being able to help others in my community. One of my passions is travel and going to another country in Africa is not only to experience where my ancestors are from but I'm also looking forward to getting immersed into another culture and learing about the people there. I'm born and raised here in U.S. and this opportunity will give me opportunity to live along side fellow students and learn together about the country, culture, and the people while earning college credits. I'm truly blessed and honor to be given such an opportunity at my age that I never thought would happen.
