I am extremely excited to volunteer here and spend 2 weeks with the children. I cant wait to not only teach/further expand their knowledge on sports but spend time with them and create relationships with them to show to them I am there to spend time with them and have fun. This is an amazing opportunity for me and am grateuful for what I will learn from living in Capetown with other volunteers who have the same goals and hopes for these incredible children. 

I committed to enhancing sports education in South Africa because I believe in the transformative power of sports to shape young lives. By improving access to quality sports programs, we can provide children with essential skills such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience. These programs not only foster physical health but also build confidence and offer valuable life lessons. Being that most schools in South Africa do not provide physical education teachers, investing in sports education is investing in a brighter, more promising future for South Africa’s youth.
