Hello everyone~ 

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.I have recently recieved the opportunity to teach abroad in South Korea! I know it's a bit of a shock to some people that I have started taking the teaching route, but after a lot of self reflecting, I've realized that my passion for writing has gone beyond words, but to the actual language itself. I have been teaching online for several months now and I truly enjoy my time with my students! I have even started volunteering and have been helping teach ESL to adults who are seeking citizenship.

The reason I have chosen South Korea because of how close it is to other countries. During college, I never had a chance to study abroad because of my committment to work, but also because the funds were never there. I plan to use my time abroad to fully travel this time and accomplish my dreams on completing my writing projects, immersing myself into different cultures as much as possible, and paying off my student loans. This isn't a "one year" kind of trip for me, but a trip I plan to take a few years on.

I'm truly excited about for the journey ahead of me! The reason for the campaign is to help with my start up costs for when I arrive to South Korea. It could take a month before I get my ARC (Alien Residence Card), which means I won't be able to get a bank account, get a new phone, etc. I've been saving for quite awhile, but I had an unexpected cost come up recently that has really set me back on my funds. Anything will be a great help!
