My Travel Story
My name is Artur Haller. I am an 18-year-old Estonian youngster with a head full of ideas. I was born and raised in Tallinn, I have two sisters and loving parents. I've been an athlete since I was 5 years old and I've loved sports ever since.
When I was seven, I entered the Tallinn’s Free Waldorf school and currently I am on my way to graduate.
I’m also a part of a group of young people who call themselves the „Willoferid“. We are young idealists who belive that our education system can and should be much better and with the help of a few older and more experienced people are giving our part in the process of developing the system.
But that's enough about me. Let's talk about the idea of mine. I've had a dream, that one day I could leave beahind myeveryday life, go far far away to discover America and live my life exactly how I want without any obligation..
I’ve always thought that this dream won’t come true any time soon but few months ago I realized that it is actually possible to achieve my coal.
I'm actually going to make it come true next year. I plan to leave Tallinn on the first of October. I'm going to take only one backpack, fully packed with things that are necessary for survival and step on a plane. I plan to start my journey in Denver and end it in Kansas City. In one year, I will visit thirty cities and try to make a living in every possible way, from selling truffles on the streets, to teaching Estonian.
