My Travel Story

Hello everyone! My name is Natalie and I’m a high school student. For the longest time now, I have been really into Japan’s culture and language and have been thinking about traveling there in order to immerse myself in all of the fascinating things that Japan has to offer. Thus, I have decided to take action and travel to Japan for the summer of 2020 to make my dreams come true! In the company that I plan to travel through, I will be able to attend a Japanese high school and live with a host family for a while. However, it’s super expensive and I have a single parent (hence me starting this campaign), so I will need your help! This trip, to me, will be an opportunity to learn many things, come out of my shell, and grow as a person. It will mean a lot to me to be able to go on my own to another country and hopefully make an impact on others like how I believe this trip will impact me. Really, I am super super excited for this trip! The money donated will go towards the plane ticket, attending a high school, living with a host family, insurance (the first four is covered by the company), plus the food and going out expenses, school uniforms, and anything extra. I will greatly appreciate any help and support in this journey! As a show of this, I plan on making a list of everyone who donated, with their names written both in English and Japanese. Thank you!
