EARTHBAG PROJECT NEPAL!!!
My Travel Story
Nepal got hit by a devastating earthquake in 2015 and they are still in the process of picking up the pieces. So I'm swanning off to go get my dainty underworked architect's hands dirty building some earthquake resistant homes in Nepal! The homes are built with Earth bags which are locally sourced using sustainable materials and provide a structurally sound building technique. The link to the program is below for further info...
Turns out this type of volunteering is very rustic/raw so could be sleeping just on a matt/tent for a month (I clearly didn't read the small print before signing up) But good news is all the money will go towards the building materials and construction of the homes so you know any money you give will go to the right place... anyways if you feel like you want to give something towards it please donate here!
Thanks
