My Travel Story

This fundraiser is for my travels to Baltimore with Rustic Pathways. Rustic Pathways is a non-profit organization that supports the communities that it travels in. I have chosen to go to The Refugee Education Project Trip. During this trip, I will be mentoring refugee children in a school. While I am not teaching I will be exploring Washington D.C. I will be with rustic pathways for two weeks and I can not wait for the things I see and do there.

This trip will have an extreme impact on my education and my future. This trip is on the pathway to my goal of becoming a teacher. I will not be just teaching but I will be teaching in a diverse city in which I have never been in. My community is diverse in many ways but not nearly as diverse as Baltimore. When I come back I will be able to make a difference in my community in different ways. I will be able to share the experiences I had and learned, to have a better understanding of how other schools run and teach. As you can see I am very passionate about this trip for the reason, I want to help the generations younger than me. I strongly believe that the more I help others, the more others will help others. This project means so much to me and I would be glad to say that you helped me reach my goals. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page, have a wonderful day!

    Bingo Fundraiser Is A Week Away!!
    Dear Family and Friends, I am going to be having a fundraiser for my trip to Baltimore next summer. The fundraiser is a family-friendly bingo night, children under eight years old are free with an adult. There will be free popcorn and prizes! To play it is $1 per game and $15 for all 20 games. Please come and enjoy a night of bingo whiling supporting my dreams. Can't wait to see you at the American Legion in Monroe on October 27th at 6 pm!
