My Travel Story

I have long had a dream of going to Ireland and Europe in general. I am currently working towards my Bachelors degree in Anthropology at the University of Houston. My dream is to be able to move to Ireland and become an Archaeologist. I have been greatly interested in Irish history as well as the religions of the Celts and Druids and even how they blended with christianity. I would ultimately love to study the culture and history of this beautiful country first hand rather than just in my books.

Dublin City University’s allows students to immerse themselves into Irish student life as they attend class with local, European, and other international students on this integrated campus. I will get to experience Dublin with guided tours to cathedrals, museums, galleries and historic sites that will bring my coursework to life in a new and exciting way. I will also have the opportunity to volunteer with a variety of charities and NGOs.
