Hello, I am a medicine student currently finishing my 4th year and I am living in Lithuania.
I am a very adventurous and pasionate girl. Travelling has always being, together with medicine and research, one of my biggest passions.
When I came across to this project I couldn't belive that such a posibility exists and I was even more surprised when I was accepted!
It is such a big opportunity for me, to gain practical experiece in the field and also to get to know different medicine styles and techniques.
One of my dreams is to work as a volunteer for "Doctors without Borders". Sadly I can´t work with them as long as I am a student.
I choose Madagascar because I know that Africa is the continent with one of the least Medical resorces, and I would like to help as much as I can in my project. I think it will be a good opportunity to perfectionate my french skills.
This project gives me the opportunity not only to learn, but to grow as a person. Knowing and understanding the difficulties of less fortunate contries will also help me to decide where to apply for working once I have a degree.
This project means the world to me. It gives me the oportunity to persue the things that I love most: Medicine, travelling, helping, learning and discover.
Being able to go would be a dream come true.
Living in Lithuania means that I don't have much resorces to fullfil this dream, any help would be highly appreciated.
