About Me
We are two recent graduates from Colorado State University. Abigail has her Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology and Danielle has hers in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability. Abigail teaches yoga and frequently sails on Lake Michigan. Danielle enjoys hiking and SCUBA diving. We both love nature and being outdoors and plan for our passions to translate into our careers. We met and became good friends and colleagues during a two-week course on Wildlife Conservation in the Baja California Sur peninsula in January 2019. Since then, we've been working together and with other naturalists in Mexico on projects to help protect sea turtle conservation and citizen science outreach. We involve people in nearly every aspect of this work, as a way to be collaborative and learn more about locals and their relationships with the animals. In this way, we are able t help sea turtles, people, and the relationships between the two. We are now becoming more and more involved in conservation and the marine environment and are excited to see what the future holds!
