About Me
I am a teenager living in the small coastal community of Seward, Alaska. I take pride in both academics and athletics as a three season varsity athlete maintaining above a 4.0 GPA. I am currently ranked first in my class and have served as class president for two years. Outside of school I also like to take advantage of unique opportunities. For example, in middle school I starred in the “Awesome Alaska” episode of the PBS show SciGirls celebrating citizen science. I spent part of last summer volunteering at a wildlife rescue center in Costa Rica helping to rehabilitate and release sloths, kinkajous, monkeys and more. I am eager to pursue my passion for mental and physical wellness with further studies in the Lower 48!
