We are four students from Africa studying in Japan. We entered the Hult Prize Challenge 2018, the world's premier student business competition and made it through to the Regional Finals held in Shanghai, China. Our business idea relate to one of the biggest environmental and social challenges faced by the planet - managing the waste we produce. Through our business idea we want to revolutionize waste management by harnessing the power of informal waste pickers. Our waste management system will provide a decent livelihood for waste pickers.
