SLV.Global is a mental health organisation providing the opportunity for students and graduates to travel abroad to expand their knowledge of global mental health by gaining practical experience in the sector. They are currently running their placements and programmes in Southern India, Europe and Bali. SLV.Global are on the lookout for passionate, motivated individuals who have a keen interest in global mental health to join their teams. Individuals will learn more about the services available abroad and how these can be hugely useful and readily applied to work environments closer to home.

Those wishing to take part in the SLV.Bali Mental Health Placement will gain over 40 hours of hands-on experience per week working with individuals living with a range of mental health issues and disabilities, as well as teaching English at a variety of settings within the community. SLV.Global’s educational programmes in India & Europe individuals will gain an education in global mental health, with an intensely immersive cross-cultural experience, whilst developing their knowledge through unique workshops and training sessions with local professionals.

SLV.Global are celebrating their 10-year anniversary in 2020! The organisation which was originally founded in 2010 by a group of psychology graduates has since continued to develop placements and programmes designed to give valuable, relevant experience and knowledge to those wishing to pursue a career in mental health.
