Hi! My name’s TJ and I am 26 years old. I recently completed a Masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages with Merit. I have spent the last several months volunteering with the Talk English Project. The Talk English Project works with people with low levels of English to help them improve their language skills, access services and get more involved in the community. Although I have a Masters degree in TESOL and teaching experience, this is not enough to enter the teaching world professionally. The CELT-P or Trinity CertTESOL qualifications usually cost around £2000 each. I have been awarded a great opportunity to gain these qualifications for free and at the same time continue to volunteer and give back to many communities in Austria.
