I am a soon to be Smith College graduate (!!). I am an anthropology major and religion minor with a particular interest in the Mediterranean. After I graduate in May, I will be moving back home to save money and apply to graduate school for archaeology. I hope to do my field work somewhere in the Mediterranean (Middle East or otherwise!). I have previously interned with the San Diego Archaeological Center where I designed an interactive children's exhibit using animal bones (that I cleaned myself). This made me realize how much I love archaeology, after my previous two years of studying more academic, cultural anthropology. Although I still love anthropology, I think I want to get my hands dirty out in the field, and archaeology is just what I'm looking for.
